BS6 TVS Apache RR 310 To Get Expensive From 1st January, 2020
TVS Motor Company will soon increase prices of its entire product lineup from 1st January, 2020. The TVS bikes and scooters (BS6-compliant) are likely to witness a price hike up to Rs 7,000 – Rs 9,000 that will vary model-wise. Though, the official figures are yet to be announced.
The BS6 TVS Apache RR 310 , which is the company’s flagship model, will surely receive maximum price increase. We have spoken to a few dealers and they said that the Apache RR 310 might get expensive by up to Rs 12,000. Currently, the BS4-compliant version of the bike costs Rs 2,28,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The TVS Apache RR 310 comes with a 313cc, single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine boosted with fuel injected technology. In its BS4 form, it delivers power worth 34bhp and 28Nm of torque. The TVS Apache series might see price hike by Rs 7,000 – Rs 9,000. The commuter motorcycle range is likely to witness a price increase from Rs 7,000 to Rs 8,000. TVS scooters include the Jupiter and Scooty Pep+ might get expensive by Rs 9,000 and Rs 8,000 respectively.
The company recently launched the BS6-compliant version of the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and Apache RTR 200 4V. The new Apache RTR 160 4V has been priced at Rs 99,950 (drum) – Rs 1.03 lakh (disc) and the Apache RTR 200 4V costs Rs 1.24 lakh (all, ex-showroom).
